Ok, so last winter was really nuts! We had more snow than I
can remember and I have been here since 1978. The Main Street homes had
snow above their first floor windows. It was incredible. Let's hope
this winter is just as powder filled as last year. I was talking to a
friend of mine at the end of the season, and he said that he only got 45 days in
BUT EACH ONE WAS A POWDER DAY!
Check out our hot deals for winter under Hot Deals and the home
page's Featured Properties. Then give us a call at 1-866-754-8772.

As a whole, we really need you all to think snow, not just a
little, but REALLY think snow!
October 24, 2007
OK, so I have been here since December 1978 and I really can't
remember having this much snow in October. Granted, there were days that
we couldn't remember anything, but with this much snow so early, it's looking
like a great ski season!

"West Side Story" by Leonard Bernstein, and the Paul Creston "Marimba Concerto."

capabilities of the Michael D. Palm Theatre and be fully produced and performed
by regional musicians and singers.

If you haven't checked out our Winter '06 Winter Specials yet, be
sure to look at the Hot Deals page on the website. We ahve some great newe
deals for skiing, Thanksgiving, and early bookings. Give us a call to
investigate further. What made me go so nuts for early winter?
Easy...we have snow on the peaks already. With the el nina still strong
for southern Colorado, we are seeing lots of moisture. Combined with the
cool temperatures, we are seeing skiffs on the peaks just about every
morning. Makes me want to find my skis! Oh, right, I left them at
Paragon in storage. Guess I owe them!

It's the Farmer's Market day again and the harvest is in!
The locals in Telluride so appreciate the fresh farm produce, handmade items,
and all the goodies the Farmer's Market brings to Town.
There was a dusting of snow a couple of days ago reminding us that
winter is coming too soon. Where is all the ski gear, do my skis need
tuning (of course they do!), and how many days do I have to retrieve
my Telluride Ski Resort Ski Pass? It is just a mere 89 days away! Be
sure to check out our website Hot Deals for new specials coming up.
We are working on an on-line booking engine as well. Stay
tuned for more in the coming weeks.

Cohn for all your efforts at getting us covered ice in Telluride. First
Class, all of you.
The following is interesting for those looking for airfare to
Telluride or Montrose. New flights and schedules!
Montrose Regional Airport to Be Served By Delta from Atlanta &
Salt Lake City -
Telluride/Montrose Regional Air Organization (TMRAO)
Announces New Winter 2006/2007 Service
TELLURIDE, May 19, 2006 – Delta Air Lines will begin new eight
times weekly service between Salt Lake City, and the Montrose Regional airport
and between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport and Montrose on
Saturdays this coming winter. The Salt Lake City Service is Effective December
14, 2006 and The Atlanta Service is Effective December 16, 2006. Service from
Salt Lake City will be on the quiet and comfortable 50 seat CRJ200 regional jet
aircraft and from Atlanta on the 142 seat MD88 jet aircraft.
“We’re pleased that Delta will be serving the Telluride/Montrose
area this coming winter,” said Tom Hess President of the Telluride Montrose
Regional Air Organization (TMRAO). “They have a strong route network that should
provide additional service options out west with service from and through Salt
Lake City and in Florida and the Southeast via the Atlanta service.”
“Delta is pleased to offer service to Telluride/Montrose via the
Montrose Regional Airport, an area rich in natural beauty and full of
recreational opportunities desired by many leisure travelers,” said Bob
Cortelyou, Delta’s vice president of Network Planning. “The reach and
convenience of our Atlanta hub will make it easier for Telluride/Montrose area
customers to reach most any point on the globe, whether their final destination
is Atlanta or Athens, Greece.”
In 2006 Delta is continuing to aggressively transform its
network to expand into new or underserved markets to bring our customers
one-stop access to the world. The new flights will connect customers to nearly
200 worldwide destinations via Atlanta and over 100 destinations via Salt Lake
City.
Delta’s new Saturday non-stop service between Montrose, Colorado
and Atlanta effective December 16th, 2006.
“We're excited to be able to have the new Delta air service in
our growing community. This adds more access for both our local residents and
winter visitors, said Noelle Hagan Mayor of Montrose. Winter visitors to the
region help local residents to thrive economically. The Delta flights are an
important step in making sure those visitors can access our region of the state
easily."
"Connectivity to the world around us is a key factor when a
company decides to locate to the Montrose area, said Sandy Head Executive
Director of the Montrose Economic Development Organization. The addition of the
Delta Service to our region will strengthen our ability to attract and retain
quality companies as well as the necessary workforce. TMRAO has been
instrumental in the positive growth of our region through the continued
expansion of our air service."
Delta’s flagship hub at
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the world’s largest airline
hub at the busiest airport in the world. With its winter 2006 schedule, Delta
and the Delta Connection carriers will offer more than 1,000 peak-day departures

fastest growing international gateway in the United States, with more than 25
new international markets announced since September 2005. Delta also continues
to expand the number of domestic destinations it serves from Atlanta, including
more than 20 new non-stop destinations added or announced since September 2005.
This December, Delta will make history in Atlanta again as it enters a new
continent from the hub for the first time since 1997 with new service to Dakar,

The Telluride Montrose Regional Air Organization focuses on actively pursuing
air service to meet local and visitor traveler demand. This is often facilitated
through revenue guarantee agreements with air carriers. The estimated yearly
direct guest spending economic impact to the region, due to TMRAO’s air program
is over $50 Million Dollars and the combined economic activity in the region due
to the Telluride and Montrose Airports is over $200 Million Dollars.

Spring is definitely here in Tellurde. The weather can give
us a little bit of every season, all in one day. Yesterday it was a
gorgeous warm, sunny day in the morning, with bitter cold winds and a bit of
snow flurries by late afternoon. Then the evening (at least down valley)
was clear and sunny again. Oh, springtime in the Rockies!
Make your summer Tellruide plans soon! We have some great
availabilities, so call us and find out the deal for a weekly stay!
Thursday March 30
Like everyone else in Town, we are leaving for the sunny climate
of Puerto Penasco! The office will open, with Laura keeping track of the
daily operations. The season ended with a huge storm, lots of heavy wet
snow. We are gearing up for a huge summer season....rafting will now have
a chance with the extra snow we have received!
Friday March 17
For all the guests who ever were lost trying to find our office,
we are moving! We will be moving the weekend of the 25 of March to the
Pederson Building at 398 W. Colorado Ave., Suite 1Wd. It is the first
building on the South side of the street as you enter the commercial core of
Telluride. Aspen Street is the cross street. We should be VERY easy
to find now!
With the recent snows, it looks like the end of the season will be
monumentous (is that a word?). The snow is holding up very nicely with
close to 100% of everything open. We are running end of the season
specials, so take a look at the hot deals. And don't forget our summer

Beautiful skies claimed the lives of one of Telluride's classic
guys yesterday. Glen Harcourt died in a plane accident yesterday
afternoon. You will be missed, Glen, but not gone from us!
It is another beautiful day here in Telluride. The skies are
crystal blue with the hint of a spring on it's way. But the temperatures
are still very cold, with 1 degree reading on my car thermometer this morning as
I came into Telluride.
We are running an incredible deal on our vacation home rentals. For the
remainder of the ski season, all homes are 20% off the regular rental rate.
This is on participating properties, but it includes almost all of
our homes. If you've been waiting for the perfect time to come to Telluride,
now would be a great time to visit!
Wednesday Febraury 15, 2006
Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! We are gearing up
for the final days of skiing here in Telluride. The snow is holding up
nicely, and it looks like more powder is on the way! Spring Skiing is the best
in Telluride.
Thoughts of spring means summer is right around the corner as
well. Look for weekly special rates on condos and homes.
Friday Powder Day, February 3, 2006
That would be cool if all days were as beautiful as this
one. I just checked the ski area's website and they say 9" of fresh
powder! Today is crystal blue skies and I think I'm going to have to go
skiing today! We have had 32" of new snow in the last week, so our
conditions have improved immensely since the beginning of the year. The
storms have been tracking a little further south for us and our southern
neighbors. It should make for a very decent river rafting season as
well. Oh, Telluride, with it's limitless ways to play outside.
Look for some new specials on our Hot Deals page. And
definitely check out our last week of the ski season bargain rates. Makes
you want to come and stay for a whole week, doesn't it? The end of the
season can be some of the best times for skiing or snow boarding because we have
had a chance for the early spring storms to roll through!
Don't forget to book your summer reservations soon, as we are
seeing quite a few people wanting to stay a week or two!
